Program Overview:
This course introduces the concept of sustainable value chains in operations and supply chain management. The course emphasizes responsible sourcing, circular economy, ESG compliance, stakeholder value, and triple bottom line business practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop and review content focusing on environmentally and socially responsible supply chain practices.
- Provide examples and case studies that reflect sustainable procurement, lifecycle management, lean and green logistics, and international regulatory standards (e.g., GRI, ISO 14001).
- Co-create learning activities, simulations, and real-world assessment projects.
- Ensure that sustainability is contextualized within broader operational strategy and value delivery.
Qualifications
- Required: MBA or MS in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Sustainability.
- Preferred: PhD in Sustainability, LEED or ISO-certified professional.
- Minimum 5 years of teaching or consulting experience in sustainable operations or value chain design.
