Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced software engineer with a strong focus on AI-powered applications, particularly in the generative AI space. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable AI tools and applications, collaborating closely with data scientists, product managers, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions. You will stay at the forefront of AI advancements, integrating new capabilities into both existing and new applications while optimizing cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and security.
What will your day look like:
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain AI-powered tools and applications, including generative AI solutions that are reliable, maintainable, and scalable.
- Work closely with data scientists, product managers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in AI technologies, exploring opportunities to integrate new AI capabilities into existing or new applications.
- Contribute to cloud infrastructure optimizing performance, cost, and security.
- Implement best practices for application security and ensure compliance with relevant data privacy and protection regulations.
- Contribute to CI/CD processes to allow for smoother releases.
- Promote engineering best practices within your team to ensure the quality, stability, performance, resilience, and maintainability of your software
We’re looking for someone with:
- 5+ years of experience in product or enterprise software development.
- Strong hands-on experience on the full software stack, including frontend, backend / API, databases, and infrastructure.
- Proven technical abilities in software development, testing, monitoring, performance tuning, and deployment pipelines.
- Strong technical communication and collaboration skills
- Strong knowledge of generative AI, with hands-on experience in applying LLM frameworks such as
- LangChain and others.
- Practical knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques, including implementing and optimizing RAG models to enhance information retrieval and generation capabilities.
- Passion for technology and commitment to staying current on AI advancements.
- Focus on application quality and testing practices, such as unit integration, e2e testing, code coverage analysis, and automated software inspection.
- Strong sense of customer empathy and a commitment to delighting customers.
- Ability to work across functional and domain boundaries to deliver software on time and with quality.
